Things To Know
This is a mandatory Home Owners Association Community
Annual Assessments (in the amount set by the Board of Directors) are due Jan 1st of each year.
Architectural Control Committee (ACC): Homeowners must obtain ACC approval prior to making any exterior changes. All modifications must adhere to established neighborhood standards. Full ACC Standards can be found in PayHOA.
Submissions: Submit ACC requests via PayHOA: https://www.payhoa.com
Landscaping: Approval is required for landscape lighting, trees, shrubs, landscape island size/edging modifications, and ground coverings (e.g., mulch, rocks, or pine straw).
Exterior Modifications: Approval is required for the front and rear of the home, including but not limited to:
Painting (brick/siding/shutters) and door replacements.
Fence installations or modifications to exterior walls.
Decks, patio enlargements, and garage modifications.
Land grading, pools, gazebos, and children's play areas.
Mailboxes are uniform and must be maintained.
Leasing Restrictions: Hickory Hills does not allow the rental (long or short-term) or leasing of any property.
Commercial Activity: The operation of commercial businesses is prohibited. Furthermore, advertisements for any business may not be displayed on vehicles visible from the driveway.
Parking: * Street Parking: Not permitted for residents, with the exception of parties or temporary needs.
Specialty Vehicles: Trailers, buses, large trucks, recreational vehicles (RVs/motor homes), boats, Jet Skis, ATVs, and commercial vehicles must be parked inside the garage.
Equipment and Toys: All toys and sports equipment must be stored indoors daily after use.
Note: Basketball goals must be permanently installed in-ground; portable or wall-mounted units are not permitted.
